DFW Severe Weather Update: Tornado Watch, Hail, and Flash Flood Warnings

Current Severe Weather Situation

Metroplex Weather Outlook

• 💨 Rain is present in the Metroplex, but storms are weakening due to a strong "cap" preventing thunderstorms from developing fully.
• 📍 Most significant storm activity is expected to remain northwest of the Metroplex and along the Red River, with a lower chance of strong storms in Dallas, Collin, and Rockwell Counties.
• 📈 The severe weather outlook indicates a level four risk along the Red River, a level two or three for much of North Texas, and a level three out of five for the Metroplex.
