• 💊 By her early twenties, her substance use escalated from marijuana and alcohol to LSD, Molly, cocaine, and eventually a significant problem with pain pills.
• 🤰 Pregnancy with her first child, Arya, led to a temporary slowdown in substance use, though she continued to struggle with marijuana.

The Grip of Addiction

• 💔 After Arya's birth, her environment remained conducive to substance use, and within 1-1.5 years, she was heavily reliant on pills, experiencing withdrawal.
• ⚠️ A pivotal moment occurred when she was given fentanyl instead of a pill, which felt good but drastically changed her life, leading to job loss, homelessness, and CPS involvement.
• 👶 Her second child, Raven, was born while Destiny was still struggling with addiction, and Raven immediately went into kinship care.

The Path to Recovery
