Accessing Dell XPS 13 Recovery Mode

• 💡 Before starting, ensure you have access to the Microsoft account logged into your laptop on another device, as a BitLocker recovery key may be required.
• 🔑 To find your BitLocker recovery key, navigate to aka.ms/myrecoverykey and log in with your Microsoft account credentials.

Preparing Your Laptop for Recovery

• ⚠️ It's crucial to obtain the BitLocker recovery key beforehand, as losing it can necessitate a fresh Windows reinstallation, leading to data loss.
• 🔌 First, shut down your Dell XPS 13 completely by holding the power button until the light turns off.

Entering Recovery Mode

• 🚀 Immediately after pressing the power button, repeatedly press the F12 key until a blue loading bar appears.
• ⚠️ If the F12 method doesn't immediately trigger the desired recovery screen, force shut down the laptop while it's loading and repeat the power-on and F12 process.
