Living in Christ

Guarding Against Deception

• 🚫 It's crucial to distinguish between enjoying creation and worshipping it, or adhering to societal norms that contradict Christian truth.

Fullness and Spiritual Circumcision

• ✨ In Christ, believers find the fullness of deity and have been brought to fullness themselves, reaching their intended purpose.
• 🔑 This fullness is not about being stuffed but about becoming who God intends, living lives full of God, life, hope, joy, and thankfulness.
• ✝️ Spiritual circumcision, not performed by human hands, signifies the putting off of the fleshly desires that hinder relationship with God.
• 💧 This is symbolized by baptism, where believers die with Christ and are raised to a new life not driven by the flesh.

Triumph Over Sin and Debt

• ⚔️ God made believers alive with Christ, forgiving all sins by canceling the charge of legal indebtedness against them.
• ⛓️ This debt was nailed to the cross, disarming and triumphing over all powers and authorities.
• ❤️ It was love, not nails, that held Christ to the cross, enabling His triumph and making believers new today.
