Building an AWD Turbo K-Swap Integra for SEMA: A Complete Transformation

Project Overview & SEMA Debut

• 🚀 The team embarked on a challenging 5-day build to transform a severely damaged Acura Integra into an all-wheel drive K-swap turbo machine.
• 🎯 The completed Integra is set to debut at the 2025 SEMA show in the Idemitsu Lubricants booth (Central Hall, #23753).
• 🤝 Special thanks to Carlos and Gary from Prestige Performance for their expertise in rebuilding the transmission and engine.

Drivetrain and Suspension Upgrades

• ⚙️ The CRV transmission was rebuilt with PPG gearing, M Factory LSD, and carbon fiber synchros to handle increased power.
• 🔧 An S1 Built all-wheel drive conversion was installed, requiring modifications to the rear end and differential mounting.
• 🛑 A Wheelwood big brake kit with six-piston front and four-piston rear calipers was fitted for superior stopping power.
• 🏎️ The front suspension received K-Tuned adjustable camber arms and five Lux hubs, while the rear featured S1 Built trailing arms and camber arms.

Engine and Fuel System

• ⚡ A fully built K20 engine with Ray Racing sleeves, CP pistons, and Drag Cartel cams was prepared to produce significant horsepower.
• ⛽ A Radium 10-gallon fuel cell with three fuel pumps, capable of supporting 1,000 horsepower, was integrated into the chassis.
• 💨 The engine is equipped with a Turbosmart 6870mm turbocharger and a compact T4 housing for quick spool.
• 💡 A K-Tuned intake manifold and Fuel Injector Clinic 1000cc primary injectors (with 2600cc secondary injectors) were installed for optimal fuel delivery.

Fabrication and Finishing Touches

• 🎨 The car received a championship white paint job from SOS Customs, complemented by custom vinyl livery from RSpec.
• 🔊 A custom 3-inch stainless steel exhaust system with a titanium muffler was fabricated and installed.
• 💡 The battery was relocated using an Optima D51R battery and a dedicated bracket.
• 🛠️ Vision Auto Works restored the JDM headlights, and RSpec applied a full vinyl wrap, including Idemitsu logos.
• ✨ The interior was completely redone with suede, double stitching, carbon fiber accents, and custom rear seats.

Performance and Testing

• 📈 The Integra was tuned using a Fueltech FT550 ECU, achieving 650 wheel horsepower on the dyno, with potential for more boost.
• 💧 Idemitsu Racing 5W40 oil was used for engine lubrication, and G057590 G oil for the transmission and differential.
• 🏁 The completed AWD K-swap Integra is ready for its SEMA debut, showcasing a comprehensive transformation.
