Brazoria County Sheriff's Office Update: Deadly Shooting After High-Speed Chase

• 🔍 Deputies confirmed the suspect had at least two assault charge warrants out for his arrest, one from Brazoria County and another possibly from Harris County.

Pursuit and Confrontation

• 🚗 Deputies located a vehicle matching the suspect's description, which committed a traffic violation and turned into the victim's neighborhood, leading to an attempted traffic stop.
• 💨 The suspect initiated a high-speed pursuit, traveling the wrong way on a highway before crashing into a ditch and fleeing on foot into a wooded area.
• 🌲 A perimeter was established, and additional resources including canines and drones were deployed to safely apprehend the suspect.

Officer-Involved Shooting
