• 💡 The Bella Hampton Farm Foundation was inspired by a vision of farmland living during the COVID-19 pandemic.
• 🚀 The founders took a leap of faith, renovating a house in Oak Cliff and then purchasing a property in Kemp, Texas.

Animal Rescue Operations

• 🐾 Over the past year and a half, the farm has rescued and found homes for over 30 dogs.
• ✈️ Dogs are transferred to human companions in Connecticut after undergoing extensive vetting, including shots and heartworm testing.
• ⚠️ A challenging experience involved being accused of running a pit bull fighting ring after rescuing dogs from difficult situations.

Addressing the East Texas Dog Epidemic

• 📈 The foundation is actively working to address a huge dog epidemic in East Texas, characterized by widespread dumping and uncontrolled breeding.
• 🐶 A recent rescue, Yama, a Great Pyrenees puppy, was found on the farm's doorstep the day after the 4th of July.

Upcoming Fall Fundraiser

• 🍂 The Bella Hampton Friends Fall fundraiser will feature a silent auction with donated items, including an overnight stay from the Warwick Melrose Hotel.
• 🍲 The farm's catering department will provide food, and some of their jellies and jams will be available for sale.
• 💰 The primary goal of the fundraiser is to raise funds for the animals to prepare for the upcoming winter, addressing needs that were unmet last year.
• 🎉 The event also coincides with the celebration of the founders' 21st wedding anniversary and Cesar's 49th birthday.
