Andrzej Duda's Post-Presidency Benefits and Pension in Poland

Transition to President Emeritus

Financial Entitlements

• 💰 The outgoing president is entitled to a three-month severance payment equivalent to his presidential salary, which was up to 30,000 PLN gross (approximately 21,000 PLN net) per month.
• 📈 He will receive a lifelong monthly presidential pension, referred to as "uposażenie," set by law at 75% of the current president's basic salary.
• 💸 For Andrzej Duda, this translates to an estimated 14,000 PLN gross (approximately 11,000 PLN net) per month, which is significantly higher than the average ZUS pension.
• 🗓️ This presidential pension is granted regardless of age or whether the former president undertakes any further professional activity.

Post-Presidency Conduct and Choices

Additional Privileges
