Kings of Judah: Azariah and Jotham

• 👑 Azariah (also known as Uzziah) of Judah reigned for 52 years, doing what was right in the Lord's eyes, though high places were not removed. He was afflicted with leprosy.
• 👨‍👦 Jotham, Azariah's son, took over governance and later succeeded him, also doing what was right but failing to remove the high places.

Kings of Israel: A Cycle of Short and Violent Reigns

• 🗓️ Zechariah, son of Jeroboam, reigned for only 6 months before being assassinated, continuing the evil pattern of his predecessors.
• ⚔️ Shallum, son of Jabesh, assassinated Zechariah and reigned for one month before also being assassinated.

• 🛡️ Pekah, son of Remaliah, reigned for 20 years, also sinning. During his reign, the king of Assyria invaded and deported many Israelites.
