Attach quizzes to your training library

Generate a quiz per training video and make completion mean something — comprehension, not checkbox.

The use case

The problem

Training completion is the most gamed metric in corporate life: the video plays in a background tab, the completion logs, the knowledge transfer never happens. Everyone knows; the checkbox survives because the alternative — assessing whether people actually absorbed the material — requires writing assessments, and nobody's writing forty quizzes for forty training videos.

The gap matters most where training is load-bearing: compliance, security awareness, tool onboarding. "Watched" and "understood" are different claims, and only one of them is what the training was for.

The mechanics

How veridive MCP helps

library_list inventories the training collection — modules by tag, the assessment to-do list made visible. run_youtube_tool's quiz-generator writes the assessments: a quiz per video, drawn from what the video actually teaches, regenerable so repeat-takers can't just memorize answer keys.

Completion upgrades from checkbox to comprehension signal: pass the quiz, not just play the video. And the wrong answers aggregate into L&D's real product — the confusion map: which module's material consistently doesn't land, which is either a content problem or the topic that needs a live session. The forty-quiz backlog becomes an afternoon.

Step by step

How to run it

  1. 1
    Connect veridive MCP

One-time setup: add the veridive MCP server to Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor or any MCP client and generate your API key. Takes about two minutes.

  2. 2
    Inventory the training shelf

The modules, listed by tag — what needs an assessment attached.

List my library's 'training'-tagged videos by topic — that's the quiz backlog.
  3. 3
    Generate the assessments

A quiz per module, from the material itself — mixed difficulty, regenerable.

Generate a quiz for each training video — questions covering the key material, mixed difficulty: <video URLs or tag>
  4. 4
    Read the confusion map

Aggregate misses per module = the content that isn't landing.

Given these quiz results by module: which topics consistently miss, and does the material or its format look like the culprit?
Before vs after

Problems it solves

  • Completion metrics measure tab-opening, not learning.
  • Writing assessments for a whole training library is the backlog nobody clears.
  • Repeat-takers memorize static answer keys; the assessment decays.
  • L&D can't see which modules fail to land until the failure surfaces operationally.
The payoff

Why it's valuable

  • Comprehension becomes the completion bar — the metric starts meaning something.
  • The full library gets assessments in an afternoon, regenerable on demand.
  • The confusion map tells L&D where to spend live-session budget.
  • Load-bearing training (compliance, security) gets the verification it always claimed to have.

Questions

FAQ

Where do people take the quizzes?

The generator produces the questions; delivery is your LMS, form tool or even the assistant itself in conversation. The generation was the bottleneck — delivery you already have.

Can quizzes regenerate so answers can't circulate?

Yes — each generation run produces fresh questions from the same material, which is exactly what static question banks can't do.

Does this pair with the ramp kit?

Directly — the ramp kit sequences and annotates; this verifies. New-hire onboarding with comprehension checks per module is the two use cases composed.
