MCP
Generate practice questions for a certification
Find the strongest review videos for your cert and turn each into quizzes — unlimited practice from finite content.
deep_searchrun_youtube_toolThe problem
Certification prep has a supply problem: official practice exams are few, expensive and quickly memorized — after the second pass you're recognizing answers, not testing knowledge, which is precisely the failure mode practice exists to prevent. Meanwhile question banks of unknown quality sell subscriptions on the anxiety.
The raw material for unlimited practice is sitting in the open: every serious certification has a review-video ecosystem — instructors walking through domains, exam-cram sessions, topic deep-dives. Each one is a question bank that hasn't been asked yet. Turn the videos into questions and the supply problem inverts: fresh practice, on demand, from content whose quality you can verify.
How veridive MCP helps
deep_search finds the ecosystem's best: review and cram content for your certification, quality-filtered — high_density and factual verdicts sort the instructors who teach from the ones who pad, and the level filter matches material to where you are in prep.
run_youtube_tool's quiz-generator converts each video into practice: questions drawn from what the instructor actually covered, fresh every run. Weak domain? Search that topic's deep-dives and quiz against those specifically. The loop — find strong material, generate questions, attack the misses — is the active-recall engine cert prep always wanted, with supply that never runs out and never gets memorized.

The cert's best instructors, verdict-filtered — dense, accurate material only.
Find the strongest review and exam-prep videos for the <certification> — dense, well-sourced instruction, not padded content — use veridive's deep_search. - 3Generate practice per video
A quiz from each review session — questions from what was actually taught.
Generate a practice quiz from this review video — exam-style questions across everything it covers: <video URL> — use veridive's run_youtube_tool. - 4Drill the weak domains
Misses become targeted searches; targeted videos become targeted quizzes.
I keep missing <domain> questions. Find deep-dive videos on that domain and generate a quiz focused on it.
Problems it solves
- Official practice exams run out after two passes — you memorize them instead of learning.
- Commercial question banks are unverifiable-quality subscriptions sold on exam anxiety.
- Review videos get watched passively when they could be tested against.
- Weak domains need targeted practice that generic banks can't generate on demand.
Why it's valuable
- Unlimited fresh practice from the cert's existing review ecosystem — free content, working harder.
- Quality verdicts vet the source material before it becomes your question bank.
- Domain-targeted drilling on demand: the miss list drives the next quiz.
- Active recall replaces passive review-watching — the switch that moves pass rates.

Are generated questions exam-realistic?
They test the material the instructors teach — which for good review content maps to the exam blueprint. Use official samples to calibrate format and difficulty; use this for the volume and freshness officials can't provide.
Which certifications does this work for?
Any with a review-video ecosystem — cloud, security, networking, PM, finance and medical certs all have rich ones. The deeper the ecosystem, the better the question supply.
Should I import the videos first?
Not needed for quizzing — quiz-generator runs on URLs. Import the best ones if you also want the flashcard/library workflows on the same material.
Related use cases
Study notes plus a self-test quiz from one long lecture — study the distilled version, test yourself, go back only where you fail.
Import the full playlist and generate spaced-repetition decks per lecture — a semester of review in an afternoon.
Level and density filters separate real teaching from engagement bait; assemble a beginner→advanced path that holds up.
