Enabling Picture-in-Picture (PiP)

• ⚙️ First, enable Picture-in-Picture in your phone's general settings, whether you are using an Android or iOS device.
• 📺 Next, open the YouTube app, navigate to your profile picture, then tap the gear icon for settings.
• ⏯️ Under 'Playback,' find and enable the Picture-in-Picture option.

PiP Availability and Requirements

• 🇺🇸 In the United States, PiP is free for non-music videos.
• 🌍 Outside the US, a YouTube Premium subscription is required to use the Picture-in-Picture feature.

Using PiP While Multitasking

• ▶️ Start any YouTube video and then swipe up to exit the app.
• 🖼️ The video should shrink into a floating window that you can reposition on your screen.
