DOOGEE T40 Pro: How to Allow and Revoke Unknown App Installations

Enabling Unknown Sources on DOOGEE T40 Pro

• ⚙️ To allow installations from outside the Google Play Store, first open the Settings on your DOOGEE T40 Pro.
• 📂 Navigate to the Apps section, then select Special app access.
• 📥 Within Special app access, find and tap on Install unknown apps.

Granting Permission to Specific Apps

• 🎯 Locate the app you wish to grant permission to, for example, Chrome, from the list.
• 🎛️ Tap on the app and then toggle the Allow from this source option to enable it.
• ✅ Once enabled, Chrome (or the selected app) will be able to install APKs from sources other than the Google Play Store.

Security Risks and Revoking Permissions

• ⚠️ Be aware that enabling unknown sources carries security risks, as these apps are not verified by the developer and could compromise your data or device.
• 🔒 You can revoke this permission at any time by returning to the Install unknown apps menu, tapping on the app, and toggling off Allow from this source.
