Caught on Camera: Dangerous Police Pursuits and Suspect Surrender

Tacoma Pursuit and PIT Maneuvers

• 🚨 A black Toyota Tacoma led CHP on a slow-speed but dangerous pursuit near USC after failing to yield.
• 💨 The suspect drove erratically, running red lights and using opposing lanes of traffic.
• 💥 Multiple PIT maneuver attempts were made, with the fourth and final one successfully flipping the truck onto its roof.
• 👮 Officers then extracted the suspect from the vehicle.

Prius Pursuit and Surrender

• 🚗 A red Toyota Prius, wanted for an alleged restraining order violation and possible burglary, led South Pasadena police on a chase through the San Gabriel Valley.

• 🚁 Police eventually switched to surveillance mode, with a helicopter tracking the vehicle as it drove above the speed limit.
• 🏛️ In an unusual turn, the suspect eventually drove to the El Monte police station, parked, and walked inside to surrender.

Armed Suspect Chase

• 💨 An armed suspect led LAPD and then CHP on a high-speed pursuit, reaching speeds over 140 mph.
• 🚗 The suspect abandoned their vehicle and attempted to carjack at least three other vehicles.
• 💥 CHP officers swarmed the suspect, taking him into custody after a dangerous chase that began in downtown LA and ended in Ontario.
