• 🔬 The city's resilience and success are attributed to its key scientific endeavor, Project Chironite, which helps control the blight.
• 🤝 This operation aims to strengthen the partnership with Wuling leadership, specifically with Jang Fami, one of the Tian of Great Yen.

Unexpected Arrival & Navigation

• ⚠️ The team experiences an unexpected landing with coordinates deviation, finding themselves outside the expected zone and unable to contact Fiona or Viceroy Jang.
• 🗺️ With radio communications intermittent and navigation functions unstable, they rely on Chen's familiarity with Wuling to find powered rafts and road markers.
• 🧭 They encounter Ardashir, a traveler from Yers, who joins them in their attempt to activate a raft and cross the river towards Wuling City.

Mysterious Grove Encounter

• 🌳 After crossing the river, the team enters a verdant bamboo grove, which proves to be a complex and disorienting environment.
• 🧩 They discover the grove contains moving bamboo trees, referred to as "grove nymphs," making navigation challenging and causing them to get lost.
• 💡 The team utilizes guiding lights and mechanisms near a statue, designed to help people escape, to find their way out of the confusing grove.

Confrontation and New Allies

• ⚔️ While navigating the grove, the team faces attacks from Quillbeasts and later, Aggeloi, forcing them to fight and retreat.
• 🤕 Following an attack, the Endman wakes up in the territory of the Chingbosa Stockade, encountering its Supreme Chief, Tong Tong, and her first mate, Ruan Yi.
• 💬 Tong Tong, a former underchief exiled from Wuling, reveals her past and her intention to "shake things up" in Wuling City.

Strategic Alliance with Chingbosa Stockade

• 🤝 Tong Tong agrees to help the Endman's team find Perlica and offers her stockade's assistance, seeing an opportunity to challenge Wuling City.
• ✅ The Endman's team decides to cooperate with Tong Tong and her stockade, viewing it as an effective exit strategy and a way to gather clues about Nefith's activities.
• 📈 This alliance is formed under the premise of earning trust and navigating the complex local politics, as the way to Wuling City has been cut off.
